A Burnaby RCMP official has kicked the bucket subsequent to being wounded during an episode close to the neighborhood emergency clinic Tuesday (Oct. 18). A male suspect was shot and stays in medical clinic.

The episode occurred around 11 a.m., close to the convergence of Canada Way and Curle Road, in a lush region between the Burnaby School Locale office and Broadview Park.

Police have recognized the official as 31-year-old Const. Shaelyn Yang, who was essential for the division’s effort group and had been with them for a long time.

Examiners say that it’s accepted Yang was nearby to help a city parks staff part with respect to a tent, when a quarrel happened among Yang and a man.

Yang was cut and taken to emergency clinic where she later passed on. The suspect, who was shot, was likewise taken to medical clinic.
